📋 Description

• • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of DevOps engineers, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), and infrastructure engineers supporting Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
• • Establishes performance expectations, career development plans, and technical standards for the infrastructure organization to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• • Oversees the architecture, deployment, and operational management of Microsoft Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• • Defines and enforces best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation strategies across hybrid cloud and on-premises systems.
• • Manages cloud networking, identity management, access controls, and compliance frameworks within Azure environments.
• • Leads management of on-premises data center infrastructure including compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and backup/recovery solutions.
• • Drives infrastructure modernization initiatives and migration strategies from on-premises systems to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration in hybrid architectures.
• • Defines and implements enterprise DevOps strategies, tools, and operational frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• • Promotes automation across provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and incident response processes using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• • Leads adoption of AI tools like Codex or Copilot to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• • Improves system reliability through Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including observability, SLIs/SLOs, and structured incident management.
• • Ensures robust monitoring, alerting, change management, and incident response processes, including participation in 24/7 on-call support for mission-critical systems.
• • Leads root cause analysis (RCA) activities and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce system downtime and improve service quality.
• • Establishes SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs aligned with business goals and operational performance targets.
• • Ensures infrastructure security, compliance, patch management, and disaster recovery readiness across all environments.
• • Collaborates closely with engineering, product, security, operations, and IT leadership teams to align technical strategies with business outcomes.
• • Communicates technical strategies, risks, and project updates to executive stakeholders and senior leadership.
• • Manages vendor relationships and evaluates third-party tools, technologies, and infrastructure solutions for enterprise adoption.
• • Supports telephony systems and works within regulated environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO standards.
• • Maintains expertise in enterprise monitoring and observability tools to ensure comprehensive system visibility and proactive issue resolution.
