📋 Description

• As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Security at Abridge AI, you will be a foundational leader in building the enterprise security function from the ground up at a pioneering generative AI healthcare company, directly enabling clinicians to focus on patient care by securing the technology that powers medical conversations and clinical documentation.
• You will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of enterprise security across identity, endpoint, SaaS, email, and corporate network environments, ensuring security scales with rapid organizational growth while maintaining a strong security posture that empowers rather than hinders employees.
• You will build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of enterprise security engineers, establishing technical excellence, engineering best practices, and a culture of ownership that attracts top talent and sets the standard for security operations.
• You will architect and operate Zero Trust identity and access management systems, including SSO, MFA, SCIM, and identity governance across cloud and SaaS platforms, while securing the endpoint fleet through EDR, MDM, and compliance enforcement across macOS, Windows, and Linux devices.
• You will drive SaaS security posture management, third-party risk assessments, shadow IT discovery, and vendor security programs, while leading Abridge’s enterprise AI security strategy—defining governance, data loss prevention controls, prompt injection mitigations, and safe adoption frameworks for generative AI tools.
• You will partner cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Compliance, and People teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into automated, durable technical controls—such as access reviews, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and policy enforcement—using infrastructure-as-code and scripting (Python/Go) to eliminate manual processes and scale security operations.
• You will evaluate build vs. buy decisions for enterprise security tooling, making pragmatic choices that maximize coverage, minimize complexity, and align with business velocity in a high-growth, regulated healthcare AI environment.
• You will help shape a security culture rooted in empathy and enablement, where security is viewed as a platform service that empowers innovation, and where your work directly supports Abridge’s mission to power deeper understanding in healthcare through responsible AI.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise security, identity security, corporate security, or adjacent security engineering domains, with at least 5+ years in a management or leadership role.
• Deep hands-on expertise in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, authentication protocols, access lifecycle management, and identity governance, with proven experience designing and operating Zero Trust architectures in modern enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in endpoint security at scale, including EDR, MDM, device compliance, and fleet management across macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Strong engineering mindset with scripting and automation skills (Python, Go, or similar), experience with infrastructure-as-code, and a bias for turning manual processes into reliable, code-driven systems.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across IT, Legal, Compliance, and People teams, and translate complex security risks into clear business terms for technical and executive audiences.
