- • Own daily administration of the company’s global equity plans, including stock option grants, RSUs, exercises, repurchases, and cancellations.
- • Partner with People Operations to support equity-related onboarding, offboarding, and employee communications.
- • Maintain accuracy and integrity of data in the equity management system (Shareworks), ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- • Assist the accounting team with valuation of equity awards in Shareworks and support complex equity transactions impacting financial reporting.
- • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on all equity-related compliance, reporting, and regulatory matters.
- • Serve as the primary subject-matter expert on U.S. tax and securities regulations related to equity compensation, including 409A and taxation rules.
- • Design and deliver employee education materials to enhance understanding of equity awards, increasing engagement and informed decision-making.
- • Respond to employee inquiries regarding equity holdings, vesting schedules, tax implications, and plan rules, coordinating cross-functionally to resolve issues.
- • Ensure operational scalability of equity programs as the company grows, adapting processes to support increased volume and global expansion.
- • Maintain up-to-date documentation of equity policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
- • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to implement new equity plan structures and amendments in alignment with corporate strategy.
- • Support the implementation and optimization of equity administration workflows across platforms, including Shareworks and Workday.
- • Manage equity-related reporting for internal stakeholders and external regulators, ensuring timely and accurate disclosures.
- • Monitor changes in global equity regulations and advise on implications for international employees participating in U.S.-based plans.
- • Oversee the administration of complex equity transactions such as tender offers, secondary sales, and repurchases.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of equity systems, processes, and automation to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–10 years of progressive experience in equity administration, with at least 2 years in a manager-level or lead role.
- • Deep expertise in equity management platforms (Shareworks preferred) and familiarity with GAAP accounting for equity compensation.
- • Strong understanding of U.S. tax and securities regulations related to equity compensation, including 409A and taxation rules.
- • High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and process orientation.
- • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across Finance, Legal, and People teams.
