• • As a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation at Coinbase, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our finance function, driving innovation and efficiency in a rapidly evolving global financial system. This role is integral to the Finance Transformation team, a center of excellence dedicated to building a scalable, efficient, and compliant finance organization that empowers Coinbase's mission to increase economic freedom in the world.
• • You will be instrumental in developing, owning, and executing a strategic roadmap focused on finance process automation, leveraging AI-driven insights, and implementing system improvements. This roadmap must be tightly aligned with the global Finance vision and overarching company objectives, ensuring that our financial operations can support Coinbase's ambitious growth and the complexities inherent in the crypto economy.
• • A core responsibility will be to lead high-impact, complex, and cross-functional transformation projects. This includes spearheading new system implementations, applying AI/ML technologies to financial processes, designing shared services models, managing post-acquisition integrations, and driving robotic process automation (RPA) initiatives. Your leadership will ensure these projects are delivered successfully and contribute significantly to operational excellence.
• • You will serve as a senior subject matter expert (SME) across critical finance operations, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). In this capacity, you will identify, quantify, and champion high-impact opportunities for optimization and intelligent automation, translating strategic goals into actionable plans.
• • Driving a culture of quality and compliance is paramount. You will oversee the creation of detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), ensure robust user acceptance testing (UAT) processes are followed, and champion SOX-compliant change management practices. This ensures that all transformations meet rigorous internal and external standards.
• • You will forge strong partnerships with senior leaders across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Procurement, and Treasury. Your role involves developing, prioritizing, and managing a portfolio of high-priority initiatives, providing clear, concise, and regular communication on progress, potential risks, and project timelines to ensure alignment and buy-in.
• • Leading and mentoring a team of transformation professionals is a key aspect of this role. You will foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture that aligns with Coinbase's core values, empowering your team to achieve their full potential and contribute to the company's success.
• • Acting as a bridge between business needs and technological solutions, you will collaborate closely with Enterprise Applications and Data Science and Analytics teams.
