- • Conduct internal investigations into potential violations of Global Trade policies, export control regulations, and sanctions compliance requirements at Pratt & Whitney
- • Interview witnesses, collect and analyze relevant documents, and consult with subject matter experts across Pratt & Whitney and RTX to assess compliance matters
- • Research the applicability of U.S. and foreign regulations governing controlled military and dual-use items to determine whether violations of Global Trade rules have occurred
- • Maintain meticulously organized evidence records and accurately document the resolution of all investigation matters
- • Support initiatives and projects led by the Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures group as needed
- • Promote and reinforce Pratt & Whitney’s "Speak Up" culture by upholding integrity and ethical standards in all activities
- • Collaborate with legal counsel and compliance professionals to interpret and apply Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- • Work independently with minimal daily supervision while managing multiple high-priority investigations across competing timelines
- • Engage effectively with all levels of management, internal clients, and Global Trade professionals enterprise-wide
- • Utilize digital technology tools, including platforms used in engineering and manufacturing environments, to support investigation workflows
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of Global Trade compliance processes and investigative methodologies
- • Ensure all activities align with RTX’s commitment to global trade compliance and regulatory integrity
🎯 Requirements
- • U.S. citizenship required due to program restrictions
- • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of professional experience in Legal, Regulatory, or Global Trade functions OR Advanced Degree and 7+ years of such experience
