- • The Senior Manager, Government Programs at Banner Health serves as a key resource responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with Medicare and Arizona Medicaid regulations, including monitoring updates, interpreting requirements, and communicating changes across departments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing alignment of processes and provider-related activities with contractual obligations, tracking strategic initiative progress, identifying risks, escalating issues to leadership, participating in regulatory discussions, developing and delivering training on policy updates, and supporting oversight of provider manuals and network compliance.
- • The role is part of Banner Plans & Networks (BPN), an accountable care organization that combines Banner Health with an extensive network of physicians to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions while reducing costs, recognized as an innovative leader in new healthcare models.
- • The position offers the opportunity to supervise support staff, drive metric-driven reporting environments, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Medicaid and Medicare programs in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, with potential for professional growth in healthcare compliance and program management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, finance administration, or organizational/project management
- • Three or more years of experience with Medicare Advantage or equivalent operational work in healthcare programs
- • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Microsoft Project, with a focus on developing dashboards and presentations
