- • Lead end-to-end revenue cycle management (RCM) operations for a rapidly growing healthcare startup focused on autism care providers, ensuring optimal cash flow and compliance across all billing and collections processes.
- • Manage accounts receivable (A/R) by identifying root causes of denials, analyzing payer and clinic-specific trends, and implementing prevention workflows and product enhancements to reduce write-offs and improve recovery rates.
- • Oversee aging A/R portfolios, prioritizing and directing efforts to resolve long-standing claims while minimizing days in A/R and maximizing net collections.
- • Manage held claims by escalating unresolved issues with payers, providers, and internal teams, ensuring continuous progress toward resolution within timely filing limits.
- • Oversee claim scrubbing logic, including modifier adjustments, rendering provider updates, and contract rate validation, to ensure accurate and timely claim submission without compromising deadlines.
- • Audit and manage external billing vendors and offshore teams, holding them accountable to strict SLAs, productivity benchmarks, and quality standards for claims processing and denial resolution.
- • Performance manage a team of claims specialists, tracking productivity, quality metrics, and prioritization of denials based on aging and AR value to drive team efficiency and outcomes.
- • Architect, implement, and continuously refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for billing, coding, authorization, and cash posting workflows to standardize and scale RCM operations.
- • Drive strategic initiatives to reduce A/R days, increase collection rates, and minimize revenue leakage through data-driven process improvements and system enhancements.
- • Collaborate directly with Clinical Operations, Tech/Product, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure seamless data flow from client intake through final reimbursement, maintaining data integrity across systems.
- • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of regional Medicaid modifiers, centralized credentialing requirements, telehealth billing rules, and state-specific prompt pay laws.
- • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations, industry accreditation standards, and federal/state billing mandates, maintaining audit readiness at all times.
- • Adapt to evolving RCM challenges as Finni Health scales, taking ownership of new projects and responsibilities aligned with company growth and regulatory changes.
- • Leverage EHR/RCM management tools and work queue systems to monitor, prioritize, and resolve claims efficiently, ensuring operational continuity and accuracy.
- • Champion Finni’s mission to democratize autism care by ensuring providers have reliable, efficient RCM infrastructure to sustain and grow their practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, RCM operations, or related healthcare finance roles
- • Deep expertise in billing, claims processing, denial appeals, accounts receivable management, and payer contracting
- • Proven track record of optimizing RCM processes, reducing days in A/R, and improving net collections in a fast-paced environment
- • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends, root causes, and implement data-driven solutions for financial performance improvement
- • Experience managing external billing vendors or offshore teams with strict SLA accountability
- • Proficiency in EHR/RCM systems, CRM tools, Google Suite, and Slack
