- • Lead and develop a multi-layered team of technical implementation and onboarding professionals, including managers and individual contributors, with a focus on scaling high-performing technical operations across customer segments.
- • Own the end-to-end customer implementation lifecycle, from sales handoff through onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion, ensuring seamless technical delivery and customer success.
- • Design, refine, and enforce standardized engagement models, playbooks, and service delivery frameworks to ensure consistent, high-quality technical onboarding across all customer types.
- • Act as a senior escalation point for complex, high-risk customer implementations, partnering with Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Product leadership to resolve critical issues and maintain trust.
- • Drive organizational design, role clarity, capacity planning, and succession planning across technical onboarding teams to align with business growth and evolving customer needs.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align technical implementation strategy with broader GTM goals, product roadmap, and customer feedback loops.
- • Establish and track key performance metrics for implementation teams, translating customer signals and operational data into strategic recommendations for process improvement and investment.
- • Mentor senior technical professionals and ICs in SaaS implementation, security architecture, and customer advocacy, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
- • Champion enablement initiatives, including documentation, knowledge sharing, and training programs, to elevate team capability and reduce dependency on individual expertise.
- • Leverage AI tools daily to enhance decision-making, automate routine tasks, and increase efficiency in customer engagement, reporting, and operational planning.
- • Represent the technical post-sale organization in executive forums, clearly articulating risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities to influence strategy and resource allocation.
- • Ensure all implementation processes adhere to security, identity, and IT administration best practices, with deep familiarity in SSO, SCIM, AD, Okta, Azure AD, APIs, and CLI tools.
- • Promote a "working out loud" culture of transparency, alignment, and shared ownership across teams to improve collaboration and reduce silos.
- • Travel up to once per month for departmental offsites, customer events, or leadership meetings, with an initial in-person onboarding required in Toronto.
- • Maintain a customer-obsessed mindset focused on value realization, long-term relationships, and scalable outcomes that drive retention and expansion.
- • Build and sustain a high-trust, human-centric team culture aligned with 1Password’s core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in post-sale SaaS roles such as Implementation, Professional Services, or Solutions Engineering
- • 4+ years of people management experience, including managing managers and multiple technical functions
- • Proven experience leading technical teams in security-focused, enterprise SaaS environments
- • Strong technical foundation in SSO, SCIM, directory services (AD, Okta, Azure AD), APIs, and SaaS architectures
- • Demonstrated ability to design and scale repeatable service delivery models and customer lifecycle processes
- • Experience influencing cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product

- • Annual base salary between $129,000 USD and $187,000 USD (US) or $127,000 CAD and $169,500 CAD (Canada), with commission eligibility
