- • As Senior Manager, Insurance Product Strategy at Gravie, you will lead the development and execution of the insurance product roadmap, directly shaping the company’s ability to innovate in the level-funded commercial insurance space and advance its mission of building a health plan everyone can love.
- • You will own new product features from strategy through go-to-market, ensuring cross-functional alignment on prioritization, differentiation, and growth while maintaining rigorous governance across the product lifecycle.
- • Day to day, you will develop detailed business requirements for new insurance product features and coordinate efforts across actuarial, underwriting, compliance, operations, and technology teams to build and launch offerings.
- • You will continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity in the level-funded insurance space to inform product enhancements and strategic evaluations.
- • You will establish and maintain product planning rhythms and operating cadences that connect strategy to execution, ensuring alignment across key functional areas including actuarial, compliance, and technology.
- • You will partner closely with compliance and regulatory stakeholders to embed regulatory requirements early in the product development process, reducing launch risk and friction.
- • You will drive governance initiatives such as product variation governance, prioritization frameworks, and cross-functional portfolio reviews to ensure consistency, scalability, and strategic focus.
- • You will collaborate with leadership to align product strategy with broader company goals, using data and market insights to inform decisions that support long-term differentiation and growth.
- • You will mentor and influence cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of accountability, clarity, and innovation in product development processes.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in health insurance product strategy, gain end-to-end ownership of complex insurance offerings, and develop leadership skills in navigating regulated, cross-functional environments.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in health insurance product management, product operations, or a related function
- • Demonstrated experience building or significantly maturing business product management processes, governance frameworks, or operating models
- • Strong experience driving cross-functional alignment across actuarial, compliance, operations, and technology stakeholders
- • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MPH preferred
- • Familiarity with the health insurance product lifecycle, including regulatory filings, benefit design, underwriting considerations, and go-to-market requirements
