- ā¢ Senior Manager, Insurance Program at Second Nature Health Inc. leads the end-to-end operational excellence of the companyās Insurance package, managing direct reports, overseeing claims operations, and building scalable processes to deliver a best-in-class experience for residents and property management companies.
- ā¢ Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and developing Insurance and Compliance Specialists, owning day-to-day insurance operations, overseeing claims processes and escalations, managing third-party vendor relationships, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, and Vendor Management teams, designing and refining SOPs, championing automation and tooling improvements, and serving as the internal subject matter expert on coverage, eligibility, and claims processes.
- ā¢ The role reports to the Director of Support and Fulfillment and serves as the primary internal expert and cross-functional liaison for all things insurance, aligning insurance strategy with company-wide customer experience goals.
- ā¢ In this role, the person will develop leadership and team-building skills, deepen expertise in insurance operations and compliance, drive process improvements through data and automation, influence cross-functional strategy, and establish themselves as the recognized authority on insurance program strategy and operations within a fast-growing, mission-driven startup.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ 5+ years experience in insurance operations, claims management, or customer support
- ā¢ 3+ years in a people management role
- ā¢ P&C license in at least one state
- ā¢ Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, remote environment
- ā¢ Strong understanding of insurance products, claims lifecycle, compliance requirements, and vendor management
- ā¢ Experience managing third-party insurance vendor relationships and adjudication workflows
- ā¢ Data-driven mindset with experience tracking team KPIs and using insights to drive decisions
- ā¢ Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and support ticketing systems
