- • Lead and manage day-to-day IT operations including support services, system administration, and endpoint management for MacOS, Windows, and ChromeOS devices.
- • Maintain, upgrade, and build IT systems and infrastructure that support Forward Financing’s business operations.
- • Create, implement, and scale operational processes to enable the IT team to grow efficiently and effectively.
- • Formulate, articulate, and socialize a strategic vision for the growth and evolution of the IT function within the organization.
- • Own and administer Google Workspace as the core IT productivity platform across the company.
- • Supervise and mentor direct reports, defining clear performance metrics and holding team members accountable to operational goals.
- • Lead large-scale IT projects from conception through delivery, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment.
- • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including deployment of zero-touch laptop configurations.
- • Negotiate, renew, and manage vendor contracts and relationships for IT services and hardware.
- • Continuously improve office technology across three locations, including networking, teleconferencing systems, card access, and security cameras.
- • Handle audiovisual setup and support for large company-wide events.
- • Build and maintain key partnerships with global stakeholders across departments and regions.
- • Expand IT support model from 5x5 to 12x5 to increase availability and responsiveness.
- • Consolidate management of business information systems currently managed by non-technical departments.
- • Ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented across all systems and devices to protect company assets and meet compliance standards.
- • Travel internationally twice annually to support global operations and stakeholder engagements.
- • Operate on a hybrid model requiring 1–2 days per week in the Boston, MA office.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree
- • At least 5 years of experience working in IT
- • At least 2 years of experience managing a technical team
- • Successful completion of at least one major IT project
- • Strong experience in system administration
- • Basic scripting and automation ability
