- • The Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Business Operations will manage business operations activities including budget/headcount planning and reporting, HCP meetings and engagements, and KPI reporting for Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Business Operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as a Business Operations generalist to deliver operational excellence across GMA, overseeing planning and tracking of GMA meetings and events, reviewing expense reports in Concur, developing reporting dashboards for leadership, and acting as an interface with GD IT for systems like CVENT.
- • The role involves coordinating finance and budgeting activities with Corporate Finance, supporting headcount planning and reporting in partnership with HR Talent Acquisition, and developing metrics and reporting on GMA business operations activities.
- • The person will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders across Global Medical Affairs, US and International Commercial Operations, Finance, Procurement, GD IT, Global Compliance, and HR/Talent Acquisition.
- • This role offers the opportunity to lead large, cross-functional projects, influence outcomes in a complex global matrix organization, and drive operational excellence in medical affairs business operations.
- • The individual will gain experience in budget and resource management, compliance reporting, project management, and systems optimization within a leading biotechnology company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
- • Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotechnology field with working knowledge of drug development
- • Experience with budget and resource management processes, including Finance and Accounting systems
- • Proven ability to influence and work successfully in a complex, global, matrix organization
- • High degree of analytical ability and conflict-resolution skills
- • Excellent communication and organizational skills
