Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own Stream’s entire organic growth engine across search engines, AI assistants, and the company website, setting strategy and executing it directly as an individual contributor.
- • Manage technical SEO for the marketing website and developer documentation, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, schema markup, structured data, and page performance optimization.
- • Execute on-page SEO improvements across content, metadata, internal linking, and keyword targeting for both marketing and developer-facing pages.
- • Build and lead an off-page SEO program focused on link acquisition, digital PR, and strategic partnerships to increase domain authority.
- • Conduct comprehensive keyword, competitor, and opportunity research to identify and prioritize high-value organic growth opportunities.
- • Partner with content and Developer Relations (DevRel) teams to transform editorial and technical content into ranked organic traffic and qualified leads.
- • Monitor and report on organic performance using Google Search Console, Semrush, and analytics tools, tracking qualified traffic, rankings, and signups.
- • Define and implement tracking methodologies for Stream’s visibility across AI assistants and AI-search surfaces including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
- • Optimize content and site structure to increase the likelihood of Stream being cited and recommended by large language models (LLMs) and AI-search products.
- • Evaluate, select, and implement LLM-visibility tooling; build custom tracking solutions where off-the-shelf tools are insufficient.
- • Adapt AI-search strategy in real-time based on emerging behaviors and shifts in the AI discovery landscape.
- • Collaborate with DevRel and content teams to ensure Stream is covered in high-impact prompts and queries used by AI assistants.
- • Design, run, and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments on live traffic to improve conversion rates across signup and SDK-install funnels.
- • Identify and eliminate friction points in user journeys on the website and dashboard, partnering with frontend and content teams on UX/UI and copy improvements.
- • Increase the conversion rate of organic visitors into signups and active users through data-driven experimentation.
- • Maintain and enhance Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 configurations, ensuring accurate event tracking, attribution modeling, and marketing measurement.
- • Independently troubleshoot tracking and attribution issues without relying on third-party teams.
- • Set the organic growth roadmap and priorities autonomously, defining what matters most without waiting for a predefined backlog.
- • Establish long-term organic growth strategy and best practices adopted across the marketing function.
- • Clearly specify technical and content changes for engineering and content partners, and brief writers on SEO and AEO requirements.
- • Actively use AI tools daily to enhance productivity, output quality, and execution speed.
- • Work cross-functionally with marketing, frontend engineering, content, and DevRel teams to align growth initiatives with product and technical capabilities.
- • Instrument all changes across SEO, AEO, and CRO with clean tracking to ensure data integrity and measurable impact.
- • Build and maintain marketing data infrastructure to ensure reliable, trustworthy measurement used by the entire marketing team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated SEO track record with measurable outcomes in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO tied to real traffic and revenue growth.
- • Hands-on experience tracking and optimizing brand visibility within LLMs and AI search surfaces (AEO), with documented results.
- • Proven experience running A/B and multivariate experiments on live traffic that produced measurable conversion improvements.
- • Hands-on proficiency with marketing data infrastructure including GTM, GA4, attribution configuration, and independent data analysis.
- • Ability to collaborate directly with engineers and content teams — reading code, specifying changes, and implementing technical adjustments.
- • Active, applied use of AI tools in daily work to improve output and efficiency.
