  • • Maple Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, People and Culture to join our dedicated and high-performing P&C team. This pivotal role reports directly to the VP, People and Culture, and is instrumental in shaping and executing people strategies that align seamlessly with our ambitious business objectives. You will be a key architect in ensuring our People and Culture initiatives not only support but actively drive Maple's continued growth and success at scale.
  • • As a strategic HR partner, you will collaborate closely with business unit leaders, embedding best-in-class people practices into the very fabric of our overall business strategy. This position is ideally suited for a "builder-doer" – an individual who thrives on both the strategic engagement with leadership and the practical, hands-on execution of programs that define and elevate the employee experience at Maple.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to talent acquisition and retention, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative HR solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities of a rapidly scaling health tech company.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves managing and mentoring members of the wider People and Culture team. You will be responsible for fostering their professional growth, providing guidance and support, and continuously improving our operational foundations to ensure the P&C function operates with maximum efficiency and impact.
  • • You will be a champion for Maple's entrepreneurial culture, which is deeply rooted in our purpose of supporting people's health and well-being and strengthening the healthcare system. This involves translating our core values into tangible actions and programs that resonate with our employees and reinforce our mission.
  • • Key responsibilities will include:
  • • Partnering with senior leadership and business unit managers to understand their strategic goals and translate them into effective people strategies and initiatives.
  • • Developing and implementing comprehensive talent management programs, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning, to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • • Designing and executing employee engagement strategies that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
  • • Overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market trends.
  • • Identifying learning and development needs across the organization and implementing programs to support employee growth and skill development.
  • • Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on a wide range of HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • • Driving initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
  • • Managing and developing the P&C team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
  • • Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and policies to support organizational growth and efficiency.
  • • Analyzing HR data and metrics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of P&C initiatives, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing company that is at the forefront of transforming healthcare. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to building a supportive and innovative workplace where employees can thrive and contribute to our overarching mission.
