- • Drive scalable, measurable demand generation for 1Password's sales-led growth by strategically leading and executing performance marketing initiatives across paid channels.
- • Develop and implement comprehensive annual and quarterly roadmaps for paid demand generation programs, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing objectives and revenue targets.
- • Oversee and optimize a diverse portfolio of B2B paid marketing channels, including paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, etc.), paid search, display, native advertising, programmatic advertising, direct buys, and emerging paid channel opportunities.
- • Guide channel strategy across the entire marketing funnel, from awareness and consideration to conversion, ensuring seamless integration with global campaign strategies and a consistent brand experience.
- • Own the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of B2B performance marketing, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
- • Lead a high-performing, analytically rigorous team of individual contributors responsible for executing paid acquisition programs that directly impact pipeline and revenue.
- • Set clear goals, expectations, and accountability for the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning, experimentation, and improvement.
- • Establish and champion a structured experimentation framework across all B2B paid channels to drive ongoing performance enhancements and uncover new avenues for pipeline growth.
- • Collaborate closely with Analytics and Marketing Operations teams to define robust hypotheses, success metrics, and measurement methodologies for experiments across various dimensions: audiences, channels, creative assets, offers, and funnel stages.
- • Prioritize experiments based on their potential impact on pipeline generation, their learning value, and their strategic alignment with Sales Assist objectives.
- • Guide the team in the meticulous design, execution, and analysis of tests, ensuring that all learnings are clearly documented and effectively disseminated to relevant marketing and revenue stakeholders.
- • Translate successful experimentation insights into scaled, impactful programs, informed budget reallocation decisions, and strategic recommendations that drive business growth.
- • Foster a dynamic test-and-learn culture that emphasizes both speed and analytical discipline, encouraging curiosity while maintaining a strong focus on achieving measurable results.
- • Manage and optimize paid media budgets across all B2B performance marketing channels, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing return on investment.
- • Monitor campaign pacing and performance in real-time, making agile budget adjustments across channels, campaigns, and regions to achieve optimal impact and efficiency.
- • Partner with the Finance department to ensure accurate forecasting, accruals, and spend reconciliation, maintaining transparency and accuracy in all budget reporting.
- • Rigorously evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) and marginal returns across various channels and tactics to inform strategic budget shifts, scaling decisions, and the overall investment strategy.
- • Own the tracking and reporting of performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, ensuring a clear understanding of campaign effectiveness.
- • Ensure the team meticulously monitors both leading indicators (e.g., leads, MQLs, conversion rates, CPL) and lagging indicators (e.g., pipeline creation, opportunity volume, revenue influence) to provide a holistic view of performance.
- • Translate complex performance data into actionable insights and clear, concise recommendations for optimization, strategic investment shifts, and future experimentation.
- • Build and maintain strong feedback loops with the Global Campaigns team to effectively measure and optimize lead quality and downstream Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) and pipeline impact.
- • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and constructive feedback to team members, supporting their professional development as strategic marketers and skilled operators.
- • Empower the team to take ownership of their work, encouraging them to explore new ideas, test innovative approaches, and continuously improve their performance.
- • Contribute to the overall mission of 1Password by ensuring that performance marketing efforts are directly contributing to the company's rapid growth and market leadership in cybersecurity.
