  • • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives spanning platform launches, operational transformations, and process improvement efforts across product, engineering, legal, and operations teams.
  • • Drive program management initiatives that blend traditional project execution with internal consulting, creating structure and clarity in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with limited documentation.
  • • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing one or two large-scale, strategic projects with smaller operational efforts to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • • Build and maintain visibility into program progress using Smartsheet, including designing dashboards, automated workflows, and reporting systems to track KPIs and stakeholder alignment.
  • • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and drive accountability across technical and non-technical teams.
  • • Identify opportunities to enhance organizational efficiency by improving internal systems, workflows, and communication protocols.
  • • Serve as a key liaison between business units to ensure seamless execution of initiatives that directly impact Availity’s revenue cycle solutions and healthcare engagement platform.
  • • Proactively navigate ambiguity by establishing frameworks, processes, and governance models where none exist, enabling scalable growth and operational excellence.
  • • Support the expansion of the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) by contributing to the evolution of program management standards and best practices.
  • • Ensure all initiatives are aligned with Availity’s mission to improve patient care by streamlining communication and transactional processes across over 2 million providers and health plans.
  • • Deliver clear, consistent communication to leadership and teams on program status, risks, and outcomes, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • • Maintain rigorous tracking of project milestones, resource allocation, and deliverables while adapting to shifting business priorities and regulatory requirements in the healthcare technology space.
  • • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by advocating for innovation, ownership, and accountability across all levels of the organization.
  • • Participate in a camera-first remote work environment, requiring active video participation in all virtual meetings to foster collaboration, security, and team cohesion.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience in project or program management within a healthcare, healthcare technology, or broader technical environment
  • • Strong ability to operate in ambiguity and create structure in rapidly evolving situations
  • • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • • Hands-on experience using Smartsheet for project tracking, reporting, dashboards, or automation
  • • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes across several concurrent initiatives
