• • As a Senior Manager, SAP Financial Systems at RTX, you will play a pivotal role within the Foundational Applications Consolidations and Advanced Reporting Team, focusing on the critical Finance and Manufacturing SAP instances. This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership and drive impactful solutions in a complex, large-scale enterprise environment.
• • You will be instrumental in supporting system change requirements by collaborating with a broad, multi-disciplined user base. This involves translating business needs into detailed functional specifications and ensuring the successful execution of projects that enhance our SAP financial systems.
• • Your role will encompass acting in a functional capacity, providing deep expertise and delivery across the entire finance functional life cycle within SAP. This includes ensuring that all proposed and implemented solutions not only meet customer needs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) but also rigorously adhere to compliance requirements such as Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
• • A key responsibility will be the hands-on day-to-day production support of SAP systems. This requires a proactive approach to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to maintain system stability and performance for our finance and manufacturing operations.
• • You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of SAP financial disciplines, including Financial Accounting (FI), Cost Accounting (CO), Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, to provide expert guidance and support.
• • The position demands advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. You will be expected to tackle complex programs, contribute valuable insights within a team environment, and drive innovative solutions.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve supporting advanced reporting, intercompany processes, and consolidations. This includes evaluating revenue recognition scenarios and managing the production and oversight of reconciliation reports that are vital for our Business Units.
• • You will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of deliverables, managing ad-hoc projects, and providing clear guidance and communication to multiple levels within the organization, from end-users to senior leadership.
• • The role requires a thorough understanding of financial operating processes and how they interact with other interdependent SAP modules. This cross-functional knowledge is crucial for providing comprehensive system modifications and support to a diverse customer base.
