- • Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Services and GTM FP&A to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant financial impact and strategic decision-making across critical Go-To-Market (GTM) functions, including Global Professional Services, Customer Success, and the Public Sector GTM organization. As a key business partner, you will provide thought leadership and actionable insights to senior leadership, including the VP of Professional Services, Chief Customer Officer (CCO), and the General Manager of Public Sector. Reporting to the Senior Director of GTM FP&A, this position is instrumental in scaling Procore's financial planning and analysis capabilities to support our rapid growth.
- • You will be a crucial partner to your colleagues within the broader Finance organization, as well as Revenue Operations and the various Go-To-Market teams. Your ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships will be essential for success in this role. You will actively advise and guide leadership within Professional Services, the Customer organization, and the Public Sector team on their financial trajectories, identifying key opportunities for growth and potential trade-offs. The goal is to empower these leaders with timely, accurate information and well-reasoned options to promote optimal investments and strategic decisions that align with Procore's overall business objectives.
- • A core responsibility of this role is end-to-end P&L ownership for the recently restructured Global Professional Services organization. This includes a sharp focus on revenue acceleration strategies and driving positive contribution margins. You will work closely with the VP of Professional Services to operate this business unit as a distinct entity within Procore. This involves devising and implementing best-in-class business planning processes, establishing operational cadences, designing effective compensation incentives, and defining key business KPIs to meticulously optimize the performance and profitability of our Services organization.
- • Furthermore, you will serve as the primary Finance business partner for our Customer organization and a rapidly expanding Public Sector team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive financial plans and budgets. A critical aspect of this responsibility involves interpreting complex financial data and effectively communicating these analyses to stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of financial performance and outlook.
- • You will champion and implement robust financial modeling techniques to streamline decision-making processes across your supported organizations. It is imperative to ensure that key financial objectives, such as revenue growth, margin improvement, operational efficiency, and productivity gains, are thoroughly analyzed and clearly understood by your business partners. Your insights will directly influence strategic choices and resource allocation.
- • This role plays a significant part in Procore's strategic financial planning cycles, including the annual and long-range planning processes. You will also own critical month-end and quarter-end close activities. This includes conducting detailed forecast variance analysis, preparing essential Board of Directors (BOD) materials, and managing quarterly financial reviews (QFRs). Accuracy and timeliness in these processes are paramount, as they form the basis for executive reporting and strategic adjustments.
- • Collaboration with the broader GTM FP&A team and Revenue Operations is key. Together, you will evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) for various GTM initiatives. This includes analyzing sales productivity and capacity planning, understanding customer Lifetime Value (LTV) to Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) ratios, assessing pipeline health, monitoring conversion rates, and examining cohort performance, along with other critical unit-level economic drivers. These analyses will inform strategic investments in our GTM efforts.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated financial dashboards and executive-level reporting. These tools will be crucial for clearly communicating topline performance, highlighting key business insights, and providing a transparent view of financial health to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable reports will be highly valued.
- • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think strategically about complex business challenges and translate them into actionable recommendations and plans. You should be comfortable working in a highly dynamic and evolving environment, adept at managing ambiguity, and capable of driving initiatives forward with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively partnering with diverse stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organization.
