📋 Description

• Senior Manager, Social Impact role focused on building and implementing Airwallex’s global social impact strategy from the ground up as a 'zero to one' initiative within a fast-growing fintech leader.
• Drive the development and execution of impact initiatives including platform adoption for social enterprises, nonprofits, and multilaterals; develop giving strategies; activate volunteering programs; establish impact partnerships; support ESG reporting; and leverage data for public good.
• Operate as an internal entrepreneur, working cross-functionally with leadership, communications, marketing, product, design, and commercial teams to align priorities, build buy-in, and scale high-impact programs globally.
• Support the President/Co-founder and Director of Social Impact on strategic priorities while contributing to Airwallex’s mission as a purpose-driven business committed to Pledge 1% through equity, product, profits, and time.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5-10 years of professional experience
• Proven experience working at the intersection of corporate/business and impact sectors (e.g., corporate x impact, business x government)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outsized results with high ownership and accountability
• Experience operating globally, including launching initiatives in new markets independently
• Background in high-paced, rigorous environments such as management consulting or finance
• Comfort and experience in highly entrepreneurial, ambiguous settings where building from zero to one is required
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach to diverse teams
