- • The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Technology leads enterprise-wide procurement initiatives for technology-related products and services, driving value, reducing risk, and ensuring compliance with security standards while supporting College Board’s mission to expand educational opportunities.
- • Day to day, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for SaaS, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and hardware; lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes; negotiate complex contracts; manage supplier performance; analyze spend data; and partner with IT Security, GRC, Legal, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to align sourcing with organizational goals.
- • The Strategic Sourcing team at College Board is transforming from transactional procurement to strategic engagement, partnering across the organization to maximize value and impact through data-driven decisions, strong supplier relationships, and sustainable practices that serve students everywhere.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in technology sourcing categories, lead high-impact supplier negotiations, build cross-functional influence, and drive measurable cost savings and risk mitigation while advancing your leadership in a mission-driven, innovative nonprofit environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- • 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, with at least 3 years focused on Technology category (SaaS, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Software, Hardware)
- • Demonstrated experience negotiating high-value, complex technology contracts
- • Familiarity with ERP systems, supplier management systems, and contract lifecycle management tools
- • Strong knowledge of technology sourcing categories including suppliers, market trends, and regulatory landscape
- • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic problem-solving skills with ability to deliver data-based insights
