Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and evolve Remote’s end-to-end global talent strategy—from onboarding through executive succession—ensuring every Remoter, regardless of continent or time-zone, has a clear, equitable path to grow, lead, and thrive.
- • Architect and launch a scalable Learning & Development (L&D) ecosystem that blends self-paced digital content, cohort-based academies, and live virtual facilitation; curate leadership curricula for first-time managers through C-suite, technical mastery tracks for engineers, and DEI-centered skill-building for all.
- • Design and operationalize an Employee Experience (EX) framework that measures and elevates engagement, belonging, and performance in a 100 % async, remote-first environment; partner with People Analytics to instrument eNPS, flight-risk, and high-potential identification dashboards that inform real-time action.
- • Build and mentor a lean, high-impact Talent Management pod—initially 2-3 specialists—instilling a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and data-driven decision making; model asynchronous leadership practices that the rest of Remote can emulate.
- • Partner deeply with Talent Acquisition to turn external hiring plans into internal mobility opportunities; co-create career architecture, skills taxonomies, and succession pipelines that reduce time-to-fill critical roles by at least 30 % through internal promotions.
- • Collaborate with People Business Partners to translate business OKRs into capability gaps and learning priorities; facilitate quarterly talent reviews that surface hidden gems, mitigate retention risks, and align emerging leaders with mission-critical projects.
- • Curate and deliver high-stakes leadership experiences—virtual offsites, action-learning sprints, and exec coaching circles—that strengthen trust, psychological safety, and strategic alignment across a globally distributed leadership team.
- • Champion Remote’s core values (kindness, ownership, excellence, transparency) by embedding them into every talent touchpoint—from competency models to recognition rituals—so culture scales faster than headcount.
- • Leverage workforce analytics to tell compelling stories: identify flight-risk patterns, correlate learning hours with performance uplift, and quantify ROI of talent programs to secure continued executive investment.
- • Serve as a visible thought-leader inside and outside Remote: publish playbooks, speak at remote-work conferences, and open-source templates that position Remote as the definitive benchmark for distributed talent excellence.
- • Iterate relentlessly—pilot micro-learning in Slack, experiment with VR leadership simulations, and A/B test recognition currencies—then sunset what doesn’t move the needle, keeping the talent stack lightweight and future-proof.
- • Ensure global compliance and inclusivity by localizing content for 50 + jurisdictions, translating materials into 10 + languages, and auditing programs for accessibility and cultural nuance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years designing and scaling global talent programs in a fully remote, high-growth tech environment (Series C or later preferred)
- • Demonstrated success partnering with Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners to drive measurable internal mobility and succession outcomes
- • Expert-level fluency in workforce analytics—able to translate engagement, performance, and attrition data into actionable talent strategies
- • Proven track record of building and leading distributed teams across multiple time-zones with asynchronous communication excellence
- • Nice-to-have: advanced degree in I/O Psychology, MBA, or equivalent; certification in leadership coaching or learning-design methodologies
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work from anywhere—Remote’s async culture means you choose the continent, cabin, or café that sparks your best work
- • Competitive global compensation benchmarked to top 25th percentile, plus equity in a hyper-growth company redefining the future of work
- • Annual learning stipend of USD 3,500 plus unlimited book and resource budget to fuel your own continuous development
- • 20 days minimum PTO plus local holidays, quarterly mental-health days, and a generous parental-leave policy that truly supports life outside of work
