  • • As a Senior Marketing Business Specialist at AlixPartners, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing programs designed to elevate the Firm's brand presence and drive measurable pipeline growth for designated practice areas. This highly interactive position within the Corporate Services team requires you to act as a strategic marketing partner to practice leaders, adeptly translating complex business objectives into sophisticated, globally scalable marketing initiatives.
  • • Your success will be measured by your ability to increase market awareness, deepen client relationships, and directly contribute to practice-level business development outcomes through the disciplined strategy and execution of targeted campaigns.
  • • Reporting to a Business Marketing Director, you will collaborate extensively across the Business Marketing function and with Firm leadership, ensuring alignment and cohesive strategy. This full-time role is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work model that includes in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
  • • You will be responsible for owning and executing integrated marketing programs for your assigned practices. This involves aligning campaign strategy with pipeline growth objectives and overarching Firm priorities, ensuring every initiative contributes to tangible business results.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be supporting the Firm’s corporate brand and marketing strategy. You will champion its adoption within your assigned sectors and practices, promoting global thought-leadership themes, assets, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • • In partnership with the Marketing Director, you will set campaign strategy and design comprehensive, end-to-end integrated programs. These programs will focus on expanding the practice franchise through proactive outreach, audience engagement, lead nurturing, and effective follow-up mechanisms.
  • • You will plan and execute high-impact events, ranging from intimate dinners and webinars to larger roundtables and hospitality programs. This includes managing all associated tasks such as audience targeting, invitation coordination, venue booking, vendor liaison, and post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless delivery and a measurable return on investment.
  • • Managing campaign budgets within your assigned scope is crucial. You will be responsible for tracking performance metrics and optimizing resource allocation to maximize the impact and efficiency of marketing spend.
  • • You will manage the awards submission processes for prestigious publications like Lexology, Global Investigations Review, Global Arbitration Review, Chambers, and others, ensuring timely and compelling submissions.
  • • Developing and refining campaign messaging pillars will be a core responsibility, ensuring they align with brand standards and strategic objectives. You will act as a primary point of contact for shared marketing services and external vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
  • • Curating content for the practice’s web pages is essential. You will ensure all content is up-to-date, relevant, and regularly refreshed to maintain an engaging online presence.
  • • You will manage list builds for various programs, coordinate post-program follow-up activities, and report on the overall success of these initiatives.
  • • Partnering with sales enablement teams is vital to ensure marketing collateral, targeting lists, and engagement strategies are current, data-informed, and strategically aligned with sales objectives.
  • • Collaboration with the Business Intelligence team will involve analyzing relevant market trends, competitor marketing strategies, and buyer behavior. You will translate these insights into actionable strategies for marketing campaigns, messaging, and targeting.
  • • Liaising with regional marketing teams, marketing specialists, and subject matter experts in digital, content, events, and media relations will be key to leveraging and contributing to the Firm’s best practices. This ensures consistent and scalable marketing programs across all geographic markets.
  • • You will assist with project management duties, including collecting and pursuing action points from meetings with business partners, ensuring project timelines are met, and that no critical tasks are overlooked.
  • • You are expected to actively contribute to the evolution of the Firm’s marketing approach, bringing forward innovative ideas, insights, and best practices that enhance overall marketing capabilities.
