đź“‹ Description

  • • We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Senior Manager, Events Marketing to spearhead Gracenote's global events program. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive design, planning, and execution of a dynamic events strategy that effectively showcases our cutting-edge products, reinforces our position as a thought leader, and highlights our significant impact on the entertainment industry.
  • • You will be the primary global events lead for Gracenote, working in close collaboration with the broader Nielsen corporate events and marketing teams. This partnership is crucial for ensuring alignment, maintaining brand consistency, and leveraging shared resources and best practices across the entire Nielsen portfolio.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of Gracenote's diverse events program. This encompasses both participation in major industry conferences – such as key trade shows, partner events, and securing speaking opportunities – and the development and management of Gracenote-branded "owned" experiences, including customer summits, roadshows, and webinars.
  • • A key deliverable will be the development of an annual events plan meticulously aligned with overarching business objectives, commercial priorities, and product launch timelines. This plan must articulate clear goals, define target audiences, establish messaging priorities, and outline specific success metrics for each individual event.
  • • You will lead cross-functional planning efforts for every event, fostering seamless collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, other Marketing functions, and the Nielsen events team. The aim is to orchestrate cohesive and impactful customer journeys, from initial invitation through to post-event follow-up.
  • • Close collaboration with the Nielsen corporate events organization is essential. This includes coordinating event calendars, managing sponsorships, leveraging shared vendor relationships, adhering to established best practices, and aligning on measurement frameworks to maximize both impact and operational efficiency.
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves owning the event experience design for Gracenote. This entails crafting compelling narratives, designing engaging booth presences, coordinating impactful product demonstrations, developing relevant content, curating insightful speaking tracks, planning memorable client moments, and organizing exceptional hospitality.
  • • You will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects of Gracenote's event participation. This includes developing and adhering to timelines, managing budgets effectively, cultivating and overseeing vendor relationships, selecting appropriate venues, coordinating exhibition builds and AV requirements, managing staffing, arranging travel logistics, and ensuring flawless on-site execution.
  • • Working in tandem with Sales and Marketing Operations, you will design and implement effective pre- and post-event campaigns. This involves driving audience acquisition, ensuring robust lead capture mechanisms, facilitating efficient lead routing, and supporting timely follow-up activities.
  • • A critical function is the development and maintenance of event performance dashboards and comprehensive recaps. You will be expected to analyze key metrics such as pipeline influence, deal acceleration, meeting volume, and qualitative feedback. These insights will be instrumental in prioritizing future initiatives and continuously optimizing the overall events mix.
  • • You will provide essential support to Gracenote executives and spokespeople, preparing them for events with detailed briefing documents, tailored talking points, and precise run-of-show schedules to ensure high-impact customer and partner engagements.
  • • A key initiative will be to build and maintain a scalable playbook for both industry and owned events. This playbook will document all processes, provide standardized templates, and codify best practices, thereby enhancing consistency, efficiency, and the speed of event execution across the organization.
  • • Cultivating strong relationships with key external partners, including event organizers, agencies, vendors, and venues, is vital. You will also be responsible for negotiating contracts to ensure the delivery of high-quality experiences within budgetary constraints.
  • • Over time, you will proactively identify opportunities to evolve Gracenote's owned event strategy, transforming them into repeatable, signature experiences that powerfully reinforce our leadership position in entertainment data and AI-powered content solutions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive event marketing strategies, encompassing both large-scale industry events and proprietary owned events.
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects with meticulous attention to detail, including budget management, vendor negotiation, and on-site execution.
  • • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of successfully partnering with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and other marketing disciplines.
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating event strategies, performance metrics, and insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • • Proficiency in event technology and analytics tools for lead capture, campaign management, and performance reporting.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday schedule.
  • • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
  • • Remote work flexibility, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
