  • • Ziplines Education is seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior Marketing Manager, Paid Social to spearhead the growth and optimization of our paid social advertising efforts. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who can expertly manage substantial budgets and complex campaigns across the Meta ecosystem (Facebook and Instagram) for a diverse portfolio of university certificate courses. You will be instrumental in driving student enrollment and revenue by owning the entire paid social lifecycle, from strategy development and execution to in-depth analysis and continuous optimization.
  • • As the in-house Meta expert, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing cutting-edge paid social strategies. This involves designing and executing rigorous A/B tests across various campaign elements, including audiences, creative assets, ad copy, formats, and placements. Your ability to translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights will be crucial for informing media buying decisions, creative direction, and overall campaign efficiency at scale.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and unlocking new growth opportunities. Beyond optimizing existing Meta campaigns, you will explore and test new placements, ad formats, audience segments, and potentially adjacent paid social platforms. A strong test-and-learn mentality, underpinned by robust analytical skills, will be essential for driving innovation and expanding our reach.
  • • You will collaborate closely with product marketing, design, and creative teams, acting as a bridge between performance data and asset creation.   • • The Senior Marketing Manager, Paid Social will also be responsible for communicating performance results and strategic recommendations to cross-functional partners and leadership. This includes providing clear, concise readouts that explain not only what happened but also the underlying 'why' and the proposed next steps. Proactive communication and the ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven recommendations are paramount.
  • • Beyond day-to-day execution, you will play a significant role in shaping the future of paid social strategy within Ziplines. This involves independently developing innovative campaign ideas, prioritizing testing initiatives, and refining optimization approaches. Staying abreast of the latest platform updates, emerging best practices, and new advertising opportunities will be critical to maintaining a competitive edge and driving continuous improvement.

  • • Key responsibilities include: setting campaign objectives, managing budgets and pacing, executing campaign setup and launch, monitoring and optimizing live campaigns, analyzing performance data, generating creative insights, developing and executing A/B tests, reporting on key metrics, and collaborating with internal teams. You will be accountable for key performance indicators such as cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and overall revenue generated from paid social channels.
  • • The role requires a strong understanding of the adult learner market and the unique challenges and opportunities within the online education space. You will leverage your expertise to craft targeted messaging and campaigns that effectively reach and engage professionals seeking to upskill or change careers. Your strategic vision will be instrumental in navigating the competitive landscape and positioning Ziplines' programs for success.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) paid media campaigns, including ownership of high-spend, multi-campaign programs.
  • • Demonstrated experience designing and running structured A/B tests across audiences, creative, copy, formats, and placements, and applying learnings at scale.
  • • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize insights into clear recommendations that influence strategy, creative direction, and investment decisions.
  • • Excellent project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage complexity across multiple brands and initiatives simultaneously.
  • • Comfort operating independently, setting direction within your scope, and sharing clear recommendations and insights with leadership.
