📋 Description

• As a Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) at Allica Bank, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the company’s mobile applications to support its mission of serving established SMEs in the UK’s growing fintech sector.
• You will work within multidisciplinary teams to design, build, test, and maintain scalable and efficient Flutter-based mobile applications, ensuring code quality, architectural integrity, and alignment with business goals.
• Allica Bank is the UK’s fastest-growing fintech company, dedicated to addressing the financial needs of underserved small and medium-sized enterprises through innovative technology and customer-centric solutions.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in mobile engineering, mentor junior team members, contribute to communities of practice, and grow your impact through collaboration across design, testing, and backend teams while advancing your skills in modern mobile architectures and CI/CD practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Flutter and Dart, including application of design patterns for testable code
• Proficiency in native mobile development languages such as Swift/Objective-C or Java/Kotlin, or equivalent strongly typed modern language
• Experience with mobile architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, VIP) and modularising application structure
• Hands-on experience with mobile UI development, including collaboration with designers using Figma and implementation within a design system
• Extensive experience with Git source control workflows (e.g., git flow, trunk-based development), testing frameworks (unit, integration, UI snapshot/golden), and code quality tools
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, CI/CD pipelines, mobile app security (certificate pinning, storage encryption, anti-tamper), and REST/microservices architectures
