- • Emburse is at the forefront of revolutionizing financial operations through innovative, AI-powered solutions. As a leading provider of travel and expense management, we are dedicated to building a future where technology not only drives business value but also inspires exceptional outcomes. Our cutting-edge platform empowers organizations to modernize their financial processes, gain unparalleled visibility into spending, and optimize expenditures across the entire enterprise. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NetSuite System Administrator to join our dynamic team and become the principal authority on NetSuite architecture, governance, and ongoing optimization throughout the organization.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive ownership of NetSuite's overall design, meticulous configuration, and strategic roadmap development. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our Finance and Accounting processes are not only highly scalable and robust but also fully automated and consistently audit-ready, meeting the highest standards of compliance and efficiency.
- • You will collaborate intimately with leadership across Finance, Accounting, and Business Systems. This close partnership will enable you to architect sophisticated solutions that significantly streamline our financial operations, fortify the integrity and accuracy of our data, and proactively support our ambitious growth trajectory. This will be achieved through strategic automation initiatives and seamless integrations with critical systems such as Salesforce, BillingPlatform, and our Data Warehouse.
- • This position is instrumental in advancing Emburse’s foundational quote-to-cash and record-to-report systems. A key objective is to reduce our dependency on external consultants and third-party contractors by cultivating and leveraging in-house expertise, thereby fostering sustainable and self-sufficient system ownership.
- • You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of NetSuite, including user management, role configuration, security protocols, and data integrity checks. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- • A significant part of your role will involve managing and executing NetSuite upgrades and releases. You will evaluate new features, assess their potential impact, and plan and implement them to maximize their benefit to the organization.
- • You will lead and participate in NetSuite projects, from initial requirements gathering and design through to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This includes developing project plans, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- • Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for NetSuite configurations, customizations, processes, and policies is crucial. This ensures knowledge transfer and supports ongoing system maintenance and development.
- • You will be a key player in defining and enforcing NetSuite best practices and governance standards across the organization, ensuring consistency and efficiency in system usage.
- • Designing, developing, and deploying custom NetSuite solutions, including saved searches, reports, workflows, and scripts (SuiteScript), to meet specific business requirements will be a core responsibility.
- • You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and functional specifications for NetSuite enhancements.
- • Performing data analysis, migration, and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness within NetSuite.
- • Staying abreast of the latest NetSuite features, functionalities, and industry trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- • Providing training and support to NetSuite end-users, empowering them to utilize the system effectively and efficiently.
- • This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of Emburse’s financial systems, driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Initially, this position will be fully remote, offering flexibility. However, as we establish a physical presence, the role will transition to a hybrid model, requiring three days per week in our Boston/Burlington office, fostering collaboration and team synergy.
