📋 Description
- • Senior Network Engineer responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining enterprise network assets on classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS) to ensure secure and compliant operations for federal, state, and local government agencies and military clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems; ensuring DISA STIG compliance; supporting enterprise service connections across domains; collaborating with ISSOs and Cybersecurity Services Leads in the RMF process; and mentoring/training NOC staff and junior engineers.
- • Strategic Growth Partners, LLC provides operations and strategic support to Tribal 8(a) and commercial organizations; their client is a CVE-verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and ISO 9001:2015 certified organization specializing in systems integration and enterprise management solutions, delivering mission-critical telecommunications and IT services as a GSA MAS contract holder.
- • The role offers opportunity to deepen expertise in securing classified networks, lead cybersecurity integration efforts via RMF, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to critical infrastructure for DoD and federal agencies while working onsite in Doral, FL with an active TS/SCI clearance.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS in relevant field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
- • 9+ years of experience with 5+ years of relevant Network Engineer experience
- • Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and network security principles
- • Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco networking technologies (IOS, NX-OS) and security appliances (ASA firewalls, ISE)
- • Experience with securing classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS) and implementing DISA STIGs
- • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
