📋 Description
- • Senior Network Security Engineer responsible for the collaborative design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and security of enterprise network infrastructure and security platforms across SimSpace corporate offices and data centers in the U.S. and Europe.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert for network and security infrastructure, designing and securing enterprise networks, managing VMware/NSX-T environments, administering firewalls and WAFs, troubleshooting network and security incidents, performing vulnerability assessments, monitoring infrastructure performance, maintaining documentation, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- • SimSpace is an AI Proving Ground founded in 2015 by experts from U.S. Cyber Command and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, serving allied governments, militaries, enterprises, and research institutions with realistic, live-fire cyber simulation platforms that enable adaptive, AI-ready defenses and compress cyber readiness cycles from months to days.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of network engineering experience
- • 5+ years of hands-on network security or security infrastructure experience
- • Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure design
- • Experience managing next-generation firewalls, secure web gateways, WAFs, and zero-trust security platforms
- • Proficiency with packet captures, traffic analysis, and network troubleshooting methodologies
- • Ability to lead technical implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and operational initiatives
