- • Senior Network Security Engineer responsible for safeguarding NewEra Technologies Ltd.'s infrastructure through advanced network security solutions, ensuring secure connectivity across global operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting and managing Level 3 tickets for Security Service Edge and NextGen Firewall technologies, creating documentation for lower-tier teams, collaborating with IT and business units on network security initiatives, leading firewall policy cleanup using assurance tools, performing L3 engineering tasks such as troubleshooting and vendor escalation, assisting in incident response with Cyber Security Operations, evaluating firewall rule requests for compliance with IAPP and security policies, and providing risk management recommendations to leadership.

🎯 Requirements
- • At least 3-5 years of experience deploying, configuring, and administering Cisco firewalls
- • Hands-on experience with network protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, and TCP/IP
- • Experience managing site-to-site and remote access VPNs and resolving network connectivity failures
- • Excellent understanding of networking across all layers of the OSI model and ability to read packet captures (Wireshark/PCAP)
- • CCSP certification or higher preferred; Bachelor’s degree required, with preference for IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
