- • Senior NPI Test Engineer responsible for leading test development for new product introductions in Semtech’s mixed-signal semiconductor portfolio, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance for high-speed communication applications operating at 200Gbps and beyond.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing test strategies for complex SiGe products from concept to production, leading technical workstreams in multi-disciplinary projects, partnering with IC design teams to ensure test coverage and manufacturability, creating reusable test IP and frameworks, driving continuous improvement to reduce NPI cycle time by 10-20%, mentoring junior engineers, and evaluating AI/ML techniques for test optimization and yield enhancement.
- • Part of Semtech’s Global Test Engineering team, a world-class organization serving as the center of excellence for test innovation across multiple global sites, specializing in mixed-signal, high-speed digital, and RF test development with deep expertise in advanced SiGe BiCMOS technologies, working closely with all business units to deliver breakthrough test capabilities that directly impact the company’s bottom line.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- • 8+ years of progressive experience in semiconductor test engineering
- • 5+ years specifically in mixed-signal/RF test development
- • Expert-level proficiency with Advantest V93000 platform (SmarTest 7/8)
- • Advanced programming skills in C/C++, Python, and TCL
- • Deep understanding of high-speed signal integrity, jitter analysis, and BER testing
- • Expertise in analog/mixed-signal DFT techniques (BIST, scan, boundary scan)
- • Proficiency in RF/microwave test techniques beyond 40GHz
- • Ability to collaborate effectively and influence across cross-functional teams
- • Track record of delivering complex projects on aggressive schedules
