Senior Offensive Security Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Offensive Security Engineer at BitMEX, you will play a critical role in safeguarding one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchanges, known for its uncompromising security posture and zero coin loss record since 2014.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing the bug bounty program, conducting internal and external penetration tests, leading red and purple team exercises, performing security research and threat intelligence, reviewing application code, and supporting incident response efforts to triage and investigate security issues.
• • You will join BitMEX’s Product Security team, a mission-driven group focused on continuously improving the security of the platform from within, collaborating closely with engineering and DevOps teams to strengthen defenses against sophisticated threats including nation-state APT groups and persistent attacker attempts.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in offensive security within a high-stakes, 24/7 global trading environment, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge crypto infrastructure, and contribute directly to maintaining the integrity and resilience of a platform processing vast volumes of digital asset transactions.
