📋 Description

• Guide enterprise customers in building scalable, optimally managed solutions using Red Hat technologies, ensuring adaptability to evolving technological advancements.
• Travel weekly (Monday–Thursday) to client locations across North America, with approximately 30–40 weeks of travel per year required.
• Deliver technical implementations based on architectural designs, aligning solutions with customer business objectives and technical requirements.
• Lead technical projects from planning through execution, including collaboration on timelines, scope definition, and maintenance of comprehensive project and technical documentation.
• Identify and articulate stakeholder needs, setting realistic expectations regarding project timelines, deliverables, and technical constraints.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external teams, including engineers, architects, and business executives, to drive successful project outcomes.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior IT and business leaders, including C-level executives, presenting complex technical concepts in clear, actionable terms.
• Mentor junior consultants and team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within Red Hat Services.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies through Red Hat’s customized training programs and enablement sessions.
• Implement complex, large-scale cloud and containerized solutions in customer environments using Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and related technologies.
• Apply expertise in Linux system administration, container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes), and orchestration platforms to optimize enterprise cloud deployments.
• Utilize Ansible for automation and configuration management in customer environments.
• Leverage source code management tools such as GitLab to support DevOps workflows and collaborative development practices.
• Apply foundational networking knowledge including TCP, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing to troubleshoot and design robust infrastructure solutions.
• Engage with internal and external communities of practice to share lessons learned, best practices, and technical how-tos.
• Participate in Red Hat’s intensive onboarding and training program to develop proficiency in Red Hat Services solutions and certification paths.
• Support the development of customer use cases into structured project plans that align with Red Hat’s technology portfolio.
• Maintain active engagement with Red Hat’s broader organization through networking events, community participation, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Top Secret SCI clearance
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline
• Experience delivering implementation-based solutions from architectural designs
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and manage project documentation
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Ansible
• Proven track record of advising senior IT and business executives, including C-level stakeholders
