- • Develop, deploy, integrate, and validate Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) workloads on public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to RHEL operating systems in cloud environments, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including code review, feature validation, and bug fixes for RHEL cloud integrations.
- • Collaborate with distributed, self-organizing engineering teams and upstream open source contributors to advance RHEL cloud capabilities.
- • Contribute to technical discussions, sprint planning, and brainstorming sessions to shape next-generation features and innovations in cloud virtualization.
- • Work closely with other RHEL engineering teams to deliver joint solutions that align with enterprise customer needs and platform-wide goals.
- • Leverage AI-assisted development and validation tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and testing efficiency in daily workflows.
- • Demonstrate leadership by driving technical initiatives, mentoring peers, and taking ownership of key features or components within the cloud virtualization stack.
- • Maintain deep engagement with open source communities, contributing code, patches, or documentation to upstream projects where applicable.
- • Ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure software delivery through rigorous testing practices and adherence to open source development standards.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and external partners.
- • Stay current with evolving cloud infrastructure trends, virtualization technologies, and Linux system internals to inform architectural decisions.
- • Actively participate in code reviews, documentation updates, and release planning to maintain alignment with RHEL’s engineering roadmap.
- • Apply strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues spanning kernel, hypervisor, container, and cloud service layers.
- • Embrace Red Hat’s open source culture by promoting transparency, collaboration, and inclusion in all team interactions and technical contributions.
