- • As a Senior Paid Search Executive at iwoca, you will play a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel growth for the company’s core lending business by managing and scaling paid search campaigns across key digital channels, directly contributing to the mission of supporting one million SMEs with flexible, responsive finance solutions.
- • You will own the day-to-day execution, optimisation, and strategic expansion of paid search initiatives, working with significant budgets to maximise ROI and ensure campaign performance aligns with iwoca’s ambitious growth targets in the competitive fintech landscape.
- • The Performance Marketing team, part of the Direct Acquisition unit, collaborates closely with sales, brand, and Acquitech to deliver data-driven, high-impact campaigns across offline and online channels, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- • Your work will span Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Bing, and emerging platforms like ChatGPT Ads and Google Demand Generation, giving you exposure to cutting-edge paid media strategies and the opportunity to shape the future of iwoca’s acquisition engine.
- • You will lead growth beyond Google by building and executing plans for Bing and new channels such as YouTube, Display, Programmatic, and Demand Gen, ensuring diversified and sustainable traffic sources that reduce dependency on any single platform.
- • You will launch, optimise, and scale campaigns across Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, and Bing, leveraging AI-driven tools and automation to improve efficiency while maintaining rigorous account hygiene and performance standards.
- • You will maintain account hygiene by collaborating with the channel lead to implement AI-powered automation solutions, reducing manual effort and increasing scalability without sacrificing precision or compliance.
- • You will support testing and insights by designing and analysing A/B, multivariate, and geo tests, running landing page experiments via Webflow, and translating data into actionable creative and strategic improvements that drive conversion and lower CAC.
- • You will contribute to creative development by assisting in crafting text, image, and video ads, sharing performance insights to refine messaging and visuals, and ensuring all assets are aligned with audience intent and brand voice.
- • You will monitor and report on granular campaign performance, build dashboards, identify optimisation opportunities, and collaborate with Acquitech to ensure data accuracy, enabling informed decision-making across the marketing and product teams.
- • Through this role, you will deepen your expertise in paid search analytics, campaign automation, cross-channel attribution, and creative testing — gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-level budgets and advanced platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, Webflow, and emerging AI-driven ad formats.
- • You will develop strategic thinking by influencing channel growth plans, challenging assumptions, and proposing innovative tests that could unlock new customer segments or improve LTV:CAC ratios, positioning you for progression into senior marketing or growth leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on Google Ads experience: 2–3 years managing, optimising, and scaling campaigns; Bing Ads experience is a plus.
- • Strong paid search expertise: deep understanding of channel dynamics, key metrics (CTR, CVR, CPC, ROAS), and what drives performance in competitive verticals like fintech.
- • Data-driven and analytical mindset: proven ability to interpret complex datasets, generate actionable insights from A/B, multivariate, and geo tests, and optimise campaigns based on statistical significance.
- • Ownership and impact: capable of managing day-to-day campaign operations independently while proactively contributing ideas to grow the channel and improve efficiency.
- • Creative and proactive approach: goes beyond routine tasks to spot opportunities, challenge assumptions, and confidently raise ideas or suggest improvements to stakeholders.
- • Strong communication skills: able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, analytics, creative) and senior stakeholders, translating technical performance into clear business narratives.
- • Attention to detail and copywriting ability: ensures ad copy, keyword selection, and creative assets are precise, compelling, and aligned with conversion goals.
- • Organised and commercially aware: skilled at prioritising tasks, managing budgets effectively, and understanding the broader business impact of marketing decisions on customer acquisition and revenue.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance and productivity.
- • Comprehensive medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership and access to private GP services for you, your partner, and dependents.
- • Generous holiday entitlement: 25 days’ annual leave, plus an extra day off for your birthday, with options to buy or sell up to five additional days and take unlimited unpaid leave.
- • One-month fully paid sabbatical after four years of service, supporting long-term wellbeing and personal development.
- • Access to external counselling and therapy sessions for mental and emotional health support.
- • 3% pension contributions on total earnings, plus an employee equity incentive scheme to share in the company’s success.
- • Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to support working families.
- • Electric car scheme and cycle-to-work initiative to promote sustainable commuting.
