  • • As a Senior Partner Manager - Channels (Italy) at Datadog, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence by building and activating a strategic partner ecosystem that drives new customer adoption and revenue growth for Datadog’s best-of-breed multi-cloud monitoring platform. This role is critical to scaling Datadog’s go-to-market strategy in Italy and beyond, focusing on high-impact partnerships with Regional and Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Value Added Resellers (VARs) to unlock new market segments and accelerate sales velocity.
  • • You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and developing strategic channel partners who can effectively sell, implement, and support Datadog’s observability solutions. Your work will directly contribute to partner-sourced pipeline generation, revenue attainment, and long-term ecosystem sustainability, ensuring partners are enabled, motivated, and aligned with Datadog’s sales objectives.
  • • Day to day, you will: identify and recruit new strategic channel partners through targeted outreach and relationship building; enable and activate existing partners via tailored training programs, joint business planning, and co-selling initiatives; coordinate technical and marketing efforts for integrated partnership launches, including solution validation and go-to-market readiness; host regular business reviews with partners to track performance against KPIs, address challenges, and drive accountability; collaborate closely with Datadog’s regional enterprise and commercial sales teams to align partner activities with direct sales motions and ensure seamless customer handoffs; and generate partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue by influencing deal registration, forecasting, and closure.
  • • You will operate within Datadog’s Channels & Alliances Team, a globally distributed, high-performing group dedicated to cultivating a differentiated partner ecosystem that amplifies the company’s market reach. The team emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and innovation in partner engagement models, working cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and finance to ensure partner programs are scalable, compliant, and mutually beneficial.
  • • Datadog fosters a hybrid workplace culture that values in-person connection and flexibility, believing that office culture fuels creativity, trust, and innovation. As part of a people-first organization, you’ll join a community that champions professional development, diversity of thought, and work excellence, where taking smart risks and celebrating collective wins are encouraged. This role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise in strategic partnerships within a fast-growing SaaS leader known for its engineering-driven culture and commitment to solving complex cloud monitoring challenges.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in channel sales strategy, partner lifecycle management, and technical solution positioning within the observability and cloud monitoring space. You’ll develop advanced skills in negotiating complex agreements, aligning partner incentives with vendor goals, and measuring partnership ROI through metrics like pipeline influence, attachment rates, and revenue contribution. Success here can lead to broader leadership opportunities in global partner management, strategic alliances, or sales leadership within Datadog’s expanding global organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in partner-facing, quota-carrying roles such as business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales within a cloud services or SaaS organization
  • • Proven track record of driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, including negotiation of agreements and cultivation of long-term, high-value partnerships
  • • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and cloud architecture scenarios, and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing
  • • Proficiency in managing premier Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners is considered advantageous
  • • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time to engage with partners, attend events, and support joint customer initiatives

🏖️ Benefits

  • • High income earning potential tied to individual performance, including competitive base salary and uncapped commission structures
  • • New hire stock equity (RSU) grants and access to the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) to share in Datadog’s long-term success
  • • Continuous professional development opportunities, including product-specific training, sales enablement programs (MEDDIC, Command of the Message), and clear career pathing
  • • Intra-departmental mentorship and buddy programs designed to foster internal networking, knowledge sharing, and cultural integration
  • • Inclusive company culture with access to Community Guilds, employee resource groups, and global benefits programs supporting well-being and belonging
