- • Manage and maintain the San Francisco office space to ensure a welcoming, organized, and functional environment for all employees, including overseeing lunch and snack programs, mail and deliveries, and vendor relationships.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee needs throughout the workday, responding promptly to requests and resolving day-to-day operational issues in the office.
- • Own and execute the end-to-end onboarding program for new hires, including managing the onboarding calendar, coordinating administrative tasks, and serving as the first friendly face to welcome new team members.
- • Design, plan, and implement intentional in-office and virtual team-building events and activities to foster belonging, connection, and inclusion across all locations, leveraging team feedback and industry trends.
- • Support core People Operations functions including I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, offboarding processes, and recruiting coordination, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all administrative workflows.
- • Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency and extend impact across People Operations tasks, continuously identifying opportunities to automate or improve processes.
- • Build and maintain scalable processes that ensure consistency and quality in People Operations initiatives as the company scales from ~90 to a larger team.
- • Collaborate with the Head of People & Places to support the broader People team, gaining exposure to HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance.
- • Proactively anticipate needs beyond assigned tasks, advocate for improvements in workplace experience, and take ownership of initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
- • Maintain high standards of organization and communication, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, deadlines, and changes across all People Operations activities.
- • Promote a culture of inclusion and psychological safety by identifying and implementing practices that ensure all employees feel seen, heard, and valued.
- • Act as a cultural ambassador for Binti’s mission, embodying empathy, low ego, and high performance in all interactions with colleagues and external partners.
- • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations through accurate recordkeeping and timely execution of HR administrative tasks.
- • Coordinate logistics for company-wide offsites and events, including venue booking, catering, travel arrangements, and post-event follow-up.
- • Manage office supplies and equipment inventory, partnering with vendors to ensure seamless replenishment and functionality.
- • Support the implementation of new People programs and policies, providing feedback and operational insights to improve their effectiveness and adoption.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the employee experience by gathering qualitative feedback and translating it into actionable operational changes.
- • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters.
- • Be present in the San Francisco office at least every Monday and Thursday, with increased availability during high-traffic periods such as onboarding waves or company events.
