đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the dedicated People Partner for Product and Engineering teams, partnering directly with senior leaders to design and evolve the employee experience across the entire lifecycle.
- • Conduct ongoing people product research with leaders, managers, and individual contributors to uncover needs, behaviours, and motivations, translating findings into clear user personas and actionable insights.
- • Identify critical pain points and moments that matter in the employee journey, framing them as well-defined problems and hypotheses to guide the People roadmap.
- • Design, prototype, and iterate on people products—including Career Frameworks, Growth & Development programs, Total Rewards, Policies, and Benefits—starting with MVPs and refining based on feedback and data.
- • Launch people initiatives with clarity and emotional resonance, ensuring widespread understanding and adoption through strategic communication, high-quality documentation, Loom videos, and targeted training.
- • Drive adoption of people products by enabling self-service tools and resources, reducing dependency on manual support and scaling impact across globally distributed teams.
- • Coach and advise managers and employees through complex or sensitive people situations, using these interactions to inform continuous improvement of policies, tools, and processes.
- • Influence key people metrics including employee NPS (eNPS), retention rates, and time-to-ramp by measuring the impact of people products and iterating based on quantitative and qualitative data.
- • Apply a product mindset to People initiatives: prioritise ruthlessly based on ROI, leverage automation and AI where possible, and treat people programs as scalable, user-centric products.
- • Work within a fully remote, globally distributed environment, collaborating asynchronously and effectively across time zones using tools like Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and AI-powered platforms.
- • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand their unique dynamics, challenges, and growth needs, and translate those into tailored people solutions.
- • Maintain a high standard of detail orientation in program design, communication, and implementation, ensuring consistency, clarity, and compliance across all people initiatives.
- • Continuously seek smarter ways to work by experimenting with new tools, workflows, and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in HR delivery.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to engineering and product leaders, navigating ambiguity with pragmatism and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
- • Contribute to a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, and high performance by embedding empathy, data, and experimentation into all people practices.
- • Support the evolution of Primer’s remote-first culture through thoughtful engagement strategies, including participation in workstations, annual retreats, and global co-working access.
- • Balance strategic, long-term thinking with hands-on execution in a high-growth environment where priorities shift rapidly and scale is a constant consideration.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by ensuring people products are designed with equity at their core and aligned with Primer’s zero-tolerance policy on discrimination.
