Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Senior Performance Marketing Executive specializing in Paid Search at iwoca, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our core lending business by expertly managing, optimizing, and scaling our Paid Search channel.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to transition from an agency environment to an in-house position, where you can directly witness and influence the commercial impact of your strategic decisions and day-to-day campaign management.
- • You will be a key player in developing and executing a sustainable growth plan for our Bing Paid Search efforts, while also proactively contributing innovative proposals for testing new and emerging search opportunities, such as ChatGPT Ads, YouTube campaigns, and Google Demand Generation.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of campaign management, from meticulous setup and ongoing optimization to ensuring impeccable account hygiene. This includes excluding irrelevant search terms and placements, actively addressing keywords with low ad relevance or quality scores, identifying consolidation opportunities for low-volume keywords, and enhancing ad extensions to maximize performance.
- • You will play a crucial role in the testing and experimentation process, supporting the creation, monitoring, and analysis of landing page experiments. Proficiency in using tools like Webflow will be leveraged to facilitate on-site page changes, enabling rapid iteration and optimization.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve deep analysis of performance data to extract actionable insights. You will formulate and support testing strategies based on clear hypotheses, focusing on metrics such as landing page engagement, keyword themes impacting conversion rates, and underperforming creative assets.
- • You will collaborate closely with the channel lead to develop compelling text, image, and video advertisements that not only align with our brand tone but also effectively support channel objectives. Regular feedback on performance will be essential for continuous improvement.
- • Granular monitoring of campaign performance across various dimensions – including keywords, landing pages, search terms, and creative assets – will be a daily activity.
- • You will be responsible for regularly reporting on channel performance to a diverse range of stakeholders, utilizing both in-platform data and internal reporting tools.
- • Setting up efficient dashboards for streamlined test monitoring will be a key contribution to the team's analytical capabilities.
- • Close collaboration with the Acquitech team is vital to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within our Looker reporting environment.
- • This role requires a proactive and data-driven individual who can not only execute but also innovate, identifying opportunities and confidently challenging existing approaches to drive superior results.
- • You will be part of the wider Direct Acquisition team, working alongside sales and brand specialists to create a cohesive and effective top-of-funnel growth strategy across multiple channels.
- • The ultimate mission of iwoca is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, and your work in Paid Search will be a significant contributor to achieving this impactful goal by connecting businesses with the flexible finance they need to thrive.
- • You will be encouraged to explore new areas of interest and contribute to the continuous innovation and improvement of our products and services, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- • The role is based in our London office, offering a hybrid working model, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
- • You will be empowered to take ownership of your work, driving initiatives and contributing to the strategic direction of the Paid Search channel.
- • This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background, excellent copywriting skills, and a passion for performance marketing within the dynamic fintech sector.
- • You will gain exposure to a wide array of Google Ads products, including Search, Performance Max, YouTube, and Demand Gen, as well as emerging platforms, broadening your expertise and skill set.
- • The opportunity to work with significant monthly budgets will provide valuable experience in managing large-scale campaigns and their financial implications.
- • You will be an integral part of a supportive team that values thought and skill diversity, encouraging a collaborative and intellectually stimulating work environment.
- • Your contributions will directly impact the success of small businesses, helping them to overcome cash flow challenges and achieve their growth ambitions.
- • This role is more than just managing campaigns; it's about understanding the needs of SMEs and leveraging performance marketing to connect them with the financial solutions that can transform their businesses.
- • You will be encouraged to be bold in identifying and raising opportunities, demonstrating courage in challenging the status quo when you believe a different approach could yield better results.
- • The company culture emphasizes learning, growth, and support, with significant investment in professional development and opportunities to explore new areas of interest.
- • You will be working in a fast-paced environment where agility and responsiveness are key, mirroring the needs of the small businesses we serve.
- • This role is a fantastic stepping stone for ambitious performance marketers looking to make a tangible difference and advance their careers in a rapidly growing fintech company.
