📋 Description

• Senior Planner role at Hitachi Energy UK Limited, responsible for scheduling and cost control across multiple projects valued between $2-25 million USD, ensuring project delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and budget.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, monitoring progress against critical paths, issuing progress reports via tools like Fastdraft, establishing cost baselines, integrating material resources with schedules, and collaborating with engineering, supply chain, construction, and client teams to manage scope changes.
• Part of a global engineering and science team within Hitachi Energy, a world-leading organization driving high-impact, cutting-edge initiatives in energy infrastructure with a focus on societal impact and operational excellence.
• Opportunity to develop expertise in project control systems, advance scheduling and cost management skills using Oracle Primavera P6, and gain influence in cross-functional project leadership while contributing to large-scale EPC projects in the transmission and distribution sector.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner in similar industries, preferably EPC projects in T&D (Transmission & Distribution)
• Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, including mature scheduling methods and tools
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6
• Ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the business
• Self-motivated team player with operational skills and prior experience in project teams
• Ability to travel to Birmingham office and site when required
