• • As a Senior Platform Architect at Temporal Technologies Inc., you will be a pivotal member of our Technical Services team, tasked with driving transformational outcomes for our customers by leveraging the power of Temporal. You will serve as the single accountable technical owner from the initial purchase phase through to the establishment of stable, production-ready environments. Your primary mission will be to transform complex technical challenges into scalable, repeatable, and robust solutions that accelerate customer success.
• • You will be instrumental in shaping and defining delivery patterns, operational standards, and enablement strategies that not only expedite customer adoption but also create a sustainable competitive advantage for them across diverse teams and environments. This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to technical leadership, ensuring our customers achieve maximum value from the Temporal platform.
• • A core responsibility is owning Production Readiness and Activation. This involves driving the very first production workflow for customers, significantly reducing the time it takes for them to go live. You will establish critical guardrails and best practices focused on reliability, effective failure handling, seamless scaling, and smooth upgrades, ensuring their Temporal deployments are robust and resilient.
• • You will empower developers to become experts in Temporal SDKs and elevate customer platform architects to mastery of Temporal Server and SDK best practices. A key aspect of this is setting up proactive alerting mechanisms designed to identify and address potential issues before they impact customers, thereby maintaining high levels of service availability and customer satisfaction.
• • You will be on the front lines, tackling your assigned customers' most difficult tickets and complex problems, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution. Furthermore, you will proactively identify and eliminate activation blockers early in the process, preventing them from escalating into significant impediments to customer success. A crucial part of your role will also involve optimizing costs and performance in collaboration with your customers, ensuring they achieve efficient and effective utilization of the Temporal platform.
• • Running the Customer's Technical Program is another significant facet of this role. You will build and execute data-driven success plans, meticulously tied to tangible production outcomes. This includes defining clear standards for architectural patterns, comprehensive training programs, robust governance frameworks, and thorough operational readiness assessments.
• • You will lead critical cross-functional coordination efforts, engaging with Professional Services, Support, external Partners, and internal Temporal teams. Utilizing strong project management skills, you will ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of customer solutions. Proactive management of technical risks, complex migrations, and the mitigation of architectural debt will be essential to maintaining project momentum and customer trust.
• • Ensuring Long-Term Technical Health is paramount. You will set and validate stringent standards for reliability, observability, and operational excellence. Continuous monitoring of health signals will allow you to intervene proactively, addressing potential issues before customers are even aware of them.
• • You will lead rigorous technical reviews, conduct readiness checkpoints, and perform maturity assessments to ensure ongoing alignment with best practices and performance benchmarks. Ultimately, you will be responsible for certifying teams and their workloads as production-ready, providing a stamp of confidence in their Temporal implementations.
• • Driving Adoption Through Production Success is the ultimate goal. You will identify growth signals based on customer usage patterns, platform maturity, and demonstrated confidence in their Temporal deployments. Partnering closely with customers, Growth Account Executives, and Solution Architects, you will work to unlock new workloads and expand the use of Temporal within their organizations.

Acting as a strong advocate for customer needs and real-world patterns, you will channel this valuable feedback internally to influence product development and strategic direction.
