📋 Description
- • Manage the onboarding and offboarding of network devices within enterprise monitoring platforms to ensure accurate coverage across the environment.
- • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics for network device availability and performance monitoring.
- • Partner closely with the Network Engineering team to refine monitoring strategies, improve visibility, and align monitoring practices with network infrastructure changes.
- • Support and enhance enterprise-wide monitoring solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business-critical systems.
- • Certify multiple hardware platforms and validate interoperability between operating systems and complex IT environments.
- • Provide technical leadership for the installation, configuration, and certification of supporting software and hardware to establish a stable foundation for production deployments.
- • Design and develop data architectures that support both production systems and backend data science and modeling tools.
- • Recommend and design system structures and tools that meet business needs while accounting for performance, security, and compatibility with existing infrastructure.
- • Participate in an on-call rotation with approximately five 2-week rotations per year, including performing maintenance and upgrades outside standard business hours.
- • Travel to the Chattanooga, Tennessee headquarters approximately 4 to 6 times per year for team collaboration, meetings, and training.
- • Conduct final interviews in person at the Chattanooga, Tennessee office.
- • Demonstrate systematic, fact-based decision-making and problem-solving in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
- • Communicate technical concepts, solutions, and business value clearly to diverse audiences including non-technical stakeholders.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments with strong organizational skills and a high sense of urgency.
- • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting diversity of perspectives and collaborative problem-solving.
- • Maintain an exceptional work ethic, self-motivation, accountability, and initiative in a fast-paced enterprise IT environment.
