• • As a Senior Platform Engineer within Adyen's ACS Infrastructure Services Team, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that powers our global payment platform. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Adyen's core services, supporting millions of transactions worldwide.
• • You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and operating sophisticated container orchestration systems, primarily Kubernetes, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and capable of handling Adyen's high-volume, low-latency demands.
• • Your responsibilities will extend to managing and optimizing traffic management solutions, including HAProxy, DNS, and Anycast, to guarantee seamless and resilient service delivery across our global network.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves driving automation initiatives to reduce operational toil. You will develop advanced tooling and automation scripts to streamline provisioning, enhance configuration management, and improve operational workflows, thereby enabling self-service capabilities for our engineering teams and minimizing manual intervention.
• • Ensuring the highest levels of reliability and availability for critical platform systems will be a key focus. This includes actively participating in on-call rotations, leading incident response efforts, and conducting thorough postmortem analyses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures, continuously elevating our operational excellence.
• • Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with a global team of platform engineers located in Amsterdam, Chicago, and Singapore, contributing to a 24/7 operational model that spans multiple regions and data centers.
• • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future evolution of Adyen's platform.
