📋 Description

• • As a Senior Platform Engineer at vivenu GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the scalability, reliability, and performance of a global event ticketing platform that serves over 10 million end users and processes more than 1 billion requests per month. Your work will directly impact how world-class organizations like the Grammys, Golden Globes, Stanford University, and Hockenheimring deliver seamless, branded ticketing experiences — transforming transactions into strategic advantages through technology.
• • You will design, build, and maintain the core platform infrastructure that powers vivenu’s API-first, cloud-native ticketing solution, ensuring high availability, low latency, and robust performance under extreme load. This includes developing and optimizing microservices, managing containerized workloads, and implementing infrastructure-as-code to support rapid, safe deployment across global regions.
• • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including product, backend, frontend, and DevOps — to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, participate in architecture reviews, and drive improvements in system observability, monitoring, and incident response to maintain 99.9%+ uptime.
• • You will lead efforts to enhance platform security, compliance, and resilience by implementing best practices in identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and disaster recovery planning, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• • You will contribute to the evolution of vivenu’s technology stack by evaluating and integrating emerging tools and technologies — such as service meshes, advanced caching strategies, and event-driven architectures — to improve developer velocity and system efficiency.
• • You will help define and refine platform standards, including API design guidelines, deployment pipelines, and performance benchmarks, ensuring consistency and quality across services while enabling faster innovation cycles for product teams.
