- • As a Senior Platform Engineer FE (DevX) at Weave Communications, Inc., you will lead the technical execution of frontend initiatives within the platform engineering team, owning the internal developer portal built on Backstage to improve developer experience and system reliability.
- • You will translate team goals into scalable frontend architecture decisions, contribute to shared libraries and platform capabilities, and ensure long-term code health by reducing technical debt, improving test coverage, and setting high standards for performance and quality.
- • You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to align on trade-offs, API contracts, and non-functional requirements, while proactively monitoring, debugging, and resolving production issues to strengthen system observability and incident response.
- • You will mentor and support fellow engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing, raising the technical bar across the team while maintaining awareness of business priorities and customer impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years building modern web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript
- • 3+ years working with React or similar modern frontend framework
- • Experience leading technical implementation of production features end-to-end
- • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
- • Experience consuming and influencing RESTful APIs
- • Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E)
