- • Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
- • Industrialize and automate infrastructure workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual toil, and enforce consistency across environments.
- • Enhance observability and monitoring systems using Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus to provide real-time insights into platform health and performance.
- • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
- • Drive DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security practices into the CI/CD pipeline, including vulnerability management, secrets handling, and IAM/RBAC enforcement.
- • Collaborate closely with software development teams and customer support to ensure platform reliability, performance, and security meet operational and customer needs.
- • Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform to maintain infrastructure-as-code standards.
- • Manage and optimize core platform services including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Minio/S3 for data persistence, messaging, and storage.
- • Maintain strong security posture across network configurations, TLS configurations, and access controls to protect against threats and compliance risks.
- • Foster a culture of service delivery excellence by promoting best practices in incident response, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- • Mentor new team members and actively share expertise within the Platform team and across engineering functions.
- • Engage with the open-source community by contributing to and leveraging open-source tools that align with Filigran’s mission of open, collaborative cybersecurity.
- • Adapt to a fast-scaling, remote-first environment with asynchronous communication, prioritizing clarity, ownership, and collaboration.
- • Work in a globally distributed team where English is the primary language of communication and decision-making.
- • Contribute to company-wide initiatives grounded in the CORE values of Cohesion, Openness, Responsibility, and Equity.
- • Select and configure personal work equipment to support optimal productivity in a fully remote setup.
- • Participate in twice-yearly in-person gatherings for regional and global offsites to strengthen team cohesion and culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in SRE, Platform, or Cloud engineering
- • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, and observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus)
- • Practical experience with infrastructure security (network security, TLS, secrets, IAM/RBAC, vulnerability management)
- • Proficiency in at least one development language (Python, Go, Java)
- • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- • Comfort working in a remote, async-first, English-speaking environment
