Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and drive Photoroom’s international PR strategy end-to-end, translating ambitious growth targets into measurable media coverage across the US, Japan, Brazil, and France. You will set the annual roadmap, allocate budget, and define KPIs that ladder up to 40 % YoY growth and enterprise acquisition goals.
- • Lead a network of best-in-class local agencies, acting as the single source of truth for global messaging while empowering regional teams to adapt narratives for cultural nuance. You will run weekly stand-ups, quarterly business reviews, and real-time Slack war rooms to keep campaigns tight, timely, and on-brand.
- • Turn every product launch, API update, and customer win into tier-one coverage. You will ghost-write op-eds, craft data-driven press releases, and package multimedia assets that journalists can’t ignore. Expect to secure national TV spots, tier-one podcast interviews, and front-page business stories that move the awareness needle.
- • Protect and elevate Photoroom’s reputation in moments of crisis or market volatility. You will build playbooks, run simulations, and serve as the first call for spokespeople when headlines heat up. Your calm, data-backed statements will reassure customers, investors, and regulators alike.
- • Integrate PR into the full marketing funnel. You will brief executives for keynote stages, align comms calendars with paid media bursts, and partner with growth teams to turn earned media into pipeline. You will also feed insights back to product and data science to sharpen future launches.
- • Establish thought-leadership platforms for our CEO, CTO, and research leads. You will place them on panels at Web Summit, Collision, NRF, and AI-centric trade shows, while ghost-writing LinkedIn posts and Medium articles that spark industry debate and attract top-tier talent.
- • Build a measurement framework that tracks share of voice, sentiment, and attribution to revenue. You will own the PR tech stack (MuckRack, Cision, Brandwatch, Google Analytics) and present monthly dashboards to the exec team, turning PR from a cost center into a growth lever.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every story we tell. You will source under-represented voices for case studies, ensure imagery reflects global users, and audit language for bias—making Photoroom a brand where every entrepreneur feels seen.
- • Stay ahead of AI, e-commerce, and creator-economy trends. You will monitor competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and cultural moments (think viral TikTok aesthetics or EU AI Act updates) to insert Photoroom into conversations at the speed of social media.
- • Mentor junior marketers and agency partners, raising the bar for storytelling craft across the company. You will run writing workshops, share swipe files of killer pitches, and build a culture where every teammate thinks like a communicator.
🎯 Requirements

- • Exceptional English writing and storytelling skills; ability to translate AI or technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives
- • Strong project-management experience coordinating agencies, events, and cross-functional launches under tight deadlines
- • (Nice-to-have) Fluency in French, Japanese, or Portuguese to support regional campaigns
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work flexibly from anywhere in Europe within a 3-hour flight of Paris, with fully reimbursed monthly visits to HQ
- • 30 days annual leave plus local public holidays and €1,000 annual learning budget for courses, books, and conferences
