- • Lead commercial interior projects from early client engagement through to contract award, shaping project scope, guiding design development, preparing detailed cost plans, leading tendering, and ensuring seamless handover into delivery.
- • Own the full estimating and pre-construction process, from defining scope to delivering final proposals, analyzing drawings and specifications to determine accurate materials, labour, and timelines.
- • Collaborate with project leaders to align schedules, resources, and milestones during early planning, identify constructability considerations and value-engineering opportunities, and protect commercial targets by managing budgets, cash flow, profit expectations, and risk.
- • Run competitive subcontractor bid processes with clear scope alignment, maintain progressive cost plans, present proposals and budgets to clients clearly and confidently, and build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- • Work within Unispace’s global network of 48 studios, contributing to transforming workplaces for leading global brands through an agile, end-to-end approach supported by workplace intelligence and innovative technology.
- • Develop expertise in commercial construction estimating, project management tools, and stakeholder communication while advancing career growth through Unispace’s focus on employee development, well-being, and flexible hybrid work arrangements.
🎯 Requirements
- • Degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- • Significant experience in commercial construction estimating, ideally with a focus on interior projects.
- • Strong trade knowledge, market awareness, and proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractor packages.
- • Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software.
- • Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and technical insight.
- • Knowledge of building regulations, compliance, and health & safety standards.
