- • Senior Principal Architect (NGFW) role focused on designing and developing next-generation firewall platforms with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and network security.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing control-plane and system services for firewall platforms, building management interfaces and APIs, implementing security services like authentication and certificate lifecycle management, developing embedded content filtering services, and leading licensing and vulnerability remediation efforts.
- • SonicWall is a cybersecurity leader with over 30 years of expertise, providing security solutions across cloud, hybrid, and traditional environments, backed by its own threat research center and serving enterprises, government agencies, and SMBs globally.
- • The role offers the opportunity to lead complex technical initiatives, deepen expertise in embedded systems and network security, influence secure architecture at scale, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in firewall technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience in C/C++ systems development for embedded platforms, security appliances, or network operating systems.
- • Strong hands-on expertise with configuration frameworks, service APIs, CLI development, logging systems, and secure remote access (SSH).
- • Solid understanding of L3–L7 networking and security concepts, including SSL/TLS, authentication, identity federation, and PKI.
- • Experience with certificate management, license enforcement frameworks, vulnerability mitigation, and secure coding practices.
- • Proficiency in Linux or embedded OS internals, debugging complex system issues, and driving technical discussions across teams.
