• • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the development of our MyRise game mode, a deeply engaging, story-driven experience that empowers players to create and guide their own WWE Superstars through compelling narratives. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating, focusing, tracking, and prioritizing a wide array of development efforts, encompassing everything from intricate motion capture sessions and authentic dialog recording to the meticulous crafting of narrative scripts.
• • You will play a key role in defining and driving the overall aesthetic of the MyRise mode, ensuring a cohesive and impactful visual presentation. This includes contributing to the direction of camera work and lighting styles, character blocking, scene transitions, and overall composition, all while maintaining the high standards expected of the WWE brand.
• • A core responsibility will be the diligent management of project scope. You will expertly balance your team’s capacity to produce exceptional work with the overarching schedule and critical launch goals of the game, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of artists, engineers, and designers to prioritize tasks, plan development cycles, and deliver highly polished narrative experiences that resonate with the excitement and drama of the WWE universe and its iconic Superstars.
• • Decompose long-term development efforts into manageable, incremental steps. You will be responsible for meticulously managing scope, developing comprehensive plans, and clearly communicating roadmaps, potential risks, crucial deadlines, and overarching project goals to all stakeholders.
• • Coordinate with central production teams to meticulously plan and execute motion capture shoots, overseeing the entire process from initial stage setup to the final delivery of captured data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• • Instrument your production workflow using industry-standard project tracking systems such as Jira. This will involve creating a high degree of transparency for stakeholders and ensuring absolute clarity for your development team regarding progress, priorities, and potential roadblocks.
• • Arrange and meticulously document testing and feedback sessions. You will work hand-in-hand with your team to iterate on features and content, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest quality of the player experience.
• • Proactively manage dependencies with other development teams across the studio. This ensures that all relevant teams—including those focused on gameplay, graphics, concept art, character and environment modeling, testing, and tools/workflows—are fully aware of and aligned with the story requirements for the MyRise mode.
• • Contribute to the overall vision and direction of the MyRise narrative, ensuring it aligns with the established lore and appeal of the WWE.
• • Identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks in the production pipeline, employing proactive problem-solving strategies.
• • Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment, encouraging open feedback and constructive dialogue.
• • Champion best practices in game production, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality output.
• • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in game development, particularly those related to narrative design and interactive storytelling.
• • Contribute to post-launch support planning and execution as needed, ensuring the continued success of the MyRise mode.
