📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Builder at n8n GmbH, you will drive the adoption of the company’s AI-powered workflow orchestration platform by shaping intuitive, builder-first product experiences that empower technical and non-technical users to automate complex workflows with speed and confidence. Your work will directly impact how hundreds of thousands of developers and builders worldwide create, iterate, and scale real-world automations, turning advanced AI capabilities into accessible, reliable tools that deliver tangible value.
• Day to day, you will own end-to-end product development—from identifying high-leverage opportunities in the builder journey and translating AI advancements into pragmatic product bets, to collaborating closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ship and iterate on features that reduce friction and increase speed-to-value. You will engage deeply with the n8n community and customers to validate hypotheses through research and prototyping, define clear success metrics, and use data to guide prioritization while maintaining a strong product intuition. You will also lead cross-functional alignment through decisive communication, champion a builder mindset across the organization, and ensure that AI-powered experiences are trustworthy, controllable, and grounded in real user needs.
• You will join a remote-first, globally distributed team of over 220 builders headquartered in Berlin, united by a shared passion for open-source innovation and developer empowerment. n8n has cultivated a vibrant community of over 650,000 active developers, earned 145k+ GitHub stars (ranking among the world’s Top 40 most popular open-source projects), and raised $240M in funding—including a recent $180M Series C from Sequoia Capital—bringing the company to a $2.5B valuation. • In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape the future of AI-driven workflow automation, gaining deep expertise in product strategy for technical users, AI product execution, and community-led growth. You will sharpen your ability to balance vision with execution, influence without authority, and turn complex technical concepts into elegant, usable experiences—while contributing to a product that is actively reshaping how organizations integrate systems and scale ideas in the AI era.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven product management experience: You’ve shipped impactful products in fast-paced environments and can point to outcomes and tradeoffs you owned.
• Builder mindset: You’re entrepreneurial, hands-on, and happiest when you can go from idea → prototype → shipped product quickly. You’re fluent in using AI tools that aid the process (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, etc.).
• Strong AI curiosity and practical knowledge: You understand how LLM features behave (prompts, non-determinism, evaluation, failure modes) and can turn that into great product decisions.
• Excellent product & UX taste: You’re known for turning complexity into elegant experiences and holding a high bar for craft.
• Technical fluency: You’re comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, auth, schemas, and system constraints—and partnering deeply with engineers.
• Data fluency: You define success metrics, dig into funnels/cohorts, and use evidence to iterate without getting stuck in analysis.
• Thrive in ambiguity: You bring structure to fuzzy problem spaces and prioritize ruthlessly among many possible directions.
• Influence without authority: You align cross-functional teams through clarity, trust, and decisive tradeoffs.
• Clear communicator: You write specs and narratives that help teams move fast and stay aligned.
